Snowflake Administrator

Job Description:

  • Hands-on experience in administering Snowflake on Azure/AWS.
  • Experience in Design, implementation of the operational aspects in supporting the snowflake cloud data platform.
  • Experience in implementing Snowflake external functions
  • Experience with cloud CLI and Networking
  • Knowledge of security (SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID, Kerberos, Policies, entitlements etc.)
  • Experience in cost monitoring and optimizations, user security auditing
  • Snowflake standards and methodologies for DB security – both infrastructure and app level
  • Create Snowflake utilization and capacity plan
  • Experience with developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, and alerts
  • Knowledge of security controls for the public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management)
  • Demonstrated proficiency of index design, query plan optimization and analysis required
  • Hands-on experience in administration of relational Databases, Data Warehouse and Data marts.
  • DevOps – Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD Pipeline / API, Jenkins, Argo CD, Jfrog
  • GitHub, GITLAB, Migration of Repository, Maintenance of Pipeline.
