Senior PHP Developer – Hybrid Position

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Website Developer proficient in PHP with a strong background in API integration and development. This role involves taking full ownership of our API, including ongoing maintenance, bug resolution, and the implementation of new features. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the latest trends and best practices in API design, security, and development.

This hybrid position offers great flexibility, with a requirement to be in the office 2-3 days per month.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • PHP Development: 5+ years of experience in web and API development using PHP.
  • Web Technologies: Proficient in PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript (and frameworks), and JSON.
  • Data Security: Demonstrated experience in implementing robust data security measures.
  • SQL and Databases: Extensive knowledge of SQL and relational database management.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel for data handling and analysis.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to maintain a holistic view while paying close attention to detail.
  • Independent Worker: Capable of working independently within a small, collaborative team.
  • Communication: Proactive in building and maintaining strong relationships with business users.

 

Desirable Skills:

  • WordPress Experience: Familiarity with WordPress development.
  • Financial Data: Experience working with financial data is a plus.
