Senior .Net Engineer (Angular) – Remote within Ireland

My client is a market-leading technology company head quartered in the US. Due to continued success, they are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team. This position is well suited to someone who wants to learn new technologies and is excited about greenfield projects.

The Role:

  • Work within a team who are developing an innovative integration platform that leverages extensive use of containerization, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code in both the Product Architecture as well as the Product Delivery.
  • Work with the team to understand and implement new functionality
  • Resolving defects in a C# Web API, an Angular 10 U.I application and with building Node JS components which run in Node Red.
  • Use Azure cloud stack, Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes on a daily basis.

The Person:

  • 5+ years’ experience working as a professional software developer
  • Strong .Net / Core experience but also has some experience with Angular when needed
  • Someone who wants to learn new technologies and is excited about greenfield projects.
  • Ideally you will want to work with cloud technologies like azure devops, terraform, docker, kubernetes – you don’t have to be an expert – training and exposure will be provided.
  • Designing and implementing modern RESTful APIs using best practices
  • Implementing modern web-based user interfaces using Angular (2+)
  • Analyse problems and implement solutions that trade off architectural constraints of functionality, usability, performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Experience with using Git and Github or Git Flow
  • Writing unit tests
