Security Architect

My client’s security team is growing. They are looking for a Security Architect to design and architect security solutions which ensure that applications, infrastructure, cloud solutions and managed services that they provide remain secure and compliant. The role will involve:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing cyber-security design and architecture services across the companies enterprise estate (product environment & corporate environment).
  • Lead in all enterprise-wide projects and programs requiring security architecture input.
  • Work directly with CISO to define and deliver Security architecture solution that meet security maturity program requirements.
  • Manage and govern design documents, presentations, and written content.
  • Provide consultancy support on security architecture for specific client engagements working closely with our professional services organizations.
  • Ensure solutions are compliant with standards and external regulatory & compliance needs.
  • Advising and adhering to global industry best practices such as ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST and other zero-trust Cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Provide best practice security designs / Security by Design and Default / Privacy by Design and Default.
  • Discussing and managing cyber-security risks related to cloud-based solutions.
  • Engaging with the customer’s CISO / CISM / CIO / CDO.

Experience Required 

  • 10+ years working experience in Cyber and/or Information Security across multiple technical disciplines.
  • Ability to architect solutions and detailed designs for the delivery of security solutions and services to customers.
  • Practical experience of security technologies and implementations.
  • Practical experience of addressing cyber-security in hybrid on-premises/cloud or all-cloud environments.
  • A strong technical background in Security technology stacks.
  • Good knowledge of international security standards – ISO270001.
  • Hold at least one of these qualifications: CISMP, CISM, CISSP, CISSP_ISSAP
