Scrum Master

Join my client as a Scrum Master and elevate your career. You'll facilitate the agile framework, including sprint planning, daily scrums, iteration reviews, and retrospectives. Drive agility, velocity, predictability, innovation, and quality, using scalable agile methods and tools to deliver functionality that enhances customer satisfaction.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team and facilitate sprint goal and deliverable definitions
  • Maintain Scrum team capacity plan, team board, sprint backlog, velocity, and burn down charts
  • Identify and remove sprint impediments
  • Communicate risks and recommend solutions
  • Ensure timely communication with managers and customers
  • Protect the Scrum framework integrity
  • Manage project risks and escalate issues appropriately
  • Track sprint progress metrics
  • Ensure transparency and visibility of team progress
  • Foster a collaborative team culture
  • Improve engineering practices for shippable functionality
  • Shield the team from external interference
  • Develop expertise in relevant systems, tools, and processes

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
  • 2+ years as a Scrum Master
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Proven risk management experience
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and SDLC
  • Agile or Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, SAFe, PMI-ACP)
