QA Automation Engineer/ SDET (Senior/ Mid-Level)

My client is a market-leading technology company changing the way we process complex transactions. Due to continued success, they are looking for a QA Automation Engineer/ SDET to join their growing team. You will work within a cross functional Agile team and be an ambassador for product quality.

**This role requires 2 days per month in Limerick office**

  • Advocate for best practices and industry standards in Agile Testing & Automation across the
  • entire SDLC
  • Collect quality metric data and communicate test status/risks to stakeholders
  • Design, code and construct automation tests in existing or new automation frameworks
  • Creation of test Strategies and implementation of these through to completion including functional & non-functional aspects

Requirements:

  • Computer Science Degree or equivalent with coding skills
  • 5+ years’ experience in Automation Testing including Front End and API
  • Excellent knowledge of both manual and automated testing processes
  • Preferable skills and experience include Python, Performance Testing and integrating test
  • Demonstrates the ability to form and deliver specific recommendations based on test results
  • Experience integrating test automation steps into CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools
