Responsibilities:

  • Develop Python-based Airflow DAGs for dataset processing.
  • Enhance existing DAGs for improved performance.
  • Manage application hosts and address client team requirements.
  • Manage storage and retention policies for client teams.
  • Manage the airflow scheduling environment.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure system stability.
  • Resolve dataset integrity and batch scheduling issues.
  • Prioritize and handle requests from client teams.
  • Administer troubleshooting and rollouts of new application versions.
  • Generate historical datasets as needed.
  • Manage application configuration and support and monitoring systems.
  • Work with development teams to improve processes.
  • Contribute to various projects.
  • Maintain support documentation.
  • Implement automation and scripting for environment enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like Splunk, check mk, Grafana, and Jira.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with batch scheduling systems, preferably Airflow.
  • SQL knowledge.
  • Exposure to big-data environments is preferred.
