IT Field Engineer

My client specialise in EPOS within the retail sector. They are a market leader in the industry and combine cutting edge software and hardware solutions. They have over 1500 clients in Ireland and are ever-growing globally. This role will involve travelling around client sites in Dublin.

My client is a leading provider of EPOS solutions in the retail sector. With cutting-edge software and hardware, they have become the market leader, serving over 1500 clients in Ireland and expanding globally. This role involves traveling to client sites in Dublin to support and optimise their EPOS systems.

The Role:

  • Provide support for both Hardware and Software to customer base
  • Installation and maintenance of company infrastructure
  • Quickly respond to customer problems
  • Participate in system upgrades
  • Troubleshoot issues

Experience Required:

  • Third Level Qualification in Information Technology/Computer Engineering
  • Networking skills both in a Hardware and Software capacity
  • Proven experience in using IT systems
  • Good working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems including Windows Server
  • Experience with EPOS / “point-of-sale” an advantage
  • Experience in SQL an advantage but not essential
  • Good communication skills are essential.
  • A full, clean driving licence
