DevOps Engineer (80-100%)

Location: Hybrid (Office near Aarau and remote work)

About the Role: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the reliable operation of our new Kubernetes-based container platform. You'll collaborate closely with IT infrastructure teams to ensure the platform meets organizational needs and runs smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize the Kubernetes container platform for scalability, reliability, and security
  • Provide Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Automate processes for deployment, scaling, and maintenance of containers
  • Monitor platform performance and ensure compliance with security standards
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues
  • Document configurations, processes, and implementations

 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration (certifications are a plus)
  • Experience with container platforms, automation, and configuration management (e.g. Ansible)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and follow security best practices
  • Solid understanding of Linux system administration
  • Fluency in German
  • EU citizenship or a B/C permit for Switzerland
