Senior .NET Developer

My client specialise in EPOS within the retail sector. They are a market leader in the industry and combine cutting edge software and hardware solutions. Thye have over 1600 clients in Ireland and are ever-growing in the UK and Australia.

You will work with a skilled team of developers and testers to provide solutions to their clients. You will also be working with my client’s hardware to ensure the software that you develop works well with it, and see how users interact with it.

This role provides exposure to the full software development lifecycle from gathering requirements from customers to development and deployment.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years developing in .NET either VB or C#
  • Relational Databases such as SQL Server
  • Agile methodologies
  • Software Design patterns
  • Source control (TFS, GIT)
  • Ability to work with clients

Experience in the following is advantageous but not essential:

  • iOS / Android development
  • Experience working with VB6
  • Web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Web Services (SOAP/ REST)
