Business Software Developer

We are excited to share an opportunity with a global client, a leader in their industry, where technology drives their success. They are looking for a skilled Business Software Developer to join the dynamic team and play a pivotal role in advancing their technological capabilities.

In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise to design and implement innovative solutions that streamline operations, enhance collaboration, and improve efficiency within a legal environment.

  • Designing, developing, testing and maintaining business applications in areas including document management, knowledge management and other legal solutions, with a particular focus on Microsoft architecture, the MS O365 stack, and emerging Microsoft AI-based solutions.
  • Migrating legacy systems to cloud based Microsoft architecture solutions, following best practices and standards.
  • Collaborating with others to understand the requirements, design the solutions, implement the features, test the functionality and deploy the applications.
  • Working with other members of the small team to improve software development practices and frameworks
  • Supervising a junior developer.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • 4 + years of experience in software development.
  • Experience in Microsoft O365 stack products
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Office Add-ins, Microsoft Syntex, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Identity Platform also an advantage.
  • Experience with workflow based solutions.
  • Experience working with SQL (MSSQL) including basic database administration would be advantageous.
  • Experience in the legal domain or other professional services areas an advantage.
  • Experience supporting and migrating legacy systems an advantage.
  • Experience with data Integration via SSIS or REST APIs an advantage.
